The Basics
I'm an experienced graphic designer with a demonstrated history of working in the creative industries. I've been designing stuff for clients as varied as small local businesses, through larger, national companies, to international businesses for 20 years now. I love branding, typography and making things which are lovely to look at and interesting to read too. I’m equally at home creating lots of fresh ideas as I am diligently typesetting a long-form report or prospectus. I’ve done plenty of B2B and B2C, I can work quickly, methodically and am a skilled artworker too.
Experience in: branding | logo design | literature design including brochures, prospectuses and annual reports | press advertisements | exhibition design | digital design | packaging design | 3D modelling | copywriting | vehicle livery.
In 2018 I devised and delivered two branding workshops to startup businesses at the invitation of the Mayor of London’s office.

In addition to my agency and freelance work I have, for many years, collaborated with my wife Gemma on design projects under the brand name The Peanut Design Studio. You can see examples of our work here.
The ‘A Bit About Me’ Bit
I have recently been able to work with the graphic design degree students at UCA Canterbury as a teaching assistant. Duties involved taking tutor groups, giving feedback and assisting in the studio, which I found hugely rewarding. I have also become a coaching assistant at my son’s cricket club where I work with the under nine beginners.
I’m a long time devotee of American Football having followed the sport since the mid-eighties and I have in the past played competitively for teams in the UK domestic leagues.
I enjoy film, I really love cooking and I have been known to bang on a bit about how much I love skateboarding too.
I’d love to include DIY and gardening here too, but I really can’t as my weekends are too taken up with the demands (and incessant noise) of four children to get anything worthwhile done.
