Aspire
The Aspire Channel Swim is the biggest fundraising event in the charity’s calendar. I developed the promotional campaign for the swim around ‘Dave’, a fictitious everyman who would appeal to the widest possible audience and perform the dual role of spokesman and inspirational figurehead. “Swim it with Dave” built on the team aspect of the event, and reminded people of the charitable aims of the event. Dave proved immensely popular with swimmers, with the most common question asked being “who is Dave?”.
